DAY 1 (27th March)
Orthodontics and PSL
Dr. Anghileri will be guiding you through the different phases of treatment of Passive self-Ligating brackets, providing practical and applicable knowledge to take advantage of each clinical situation and make your practice more efficient.
TOPICS:
Summary of the basic concepts in Orthodontics: Tip, Torque, Angulation. Ideal bonding technique and position of the brackets and tubes.
Pillars of PSL: concepts, archwires and brackets.
Phases of treatment: Understanding the step by step in archwire sequence, objectives and clinical tips in each one of them:
PHASE 1: The power of round wires. bite turbos, rotated teeth: “The ANG Technique”. Indirect ligature, light elastics and how to bond the second molar tubes.
PHASE 2: Difficult narrow arches and how to correct them.
PHASE 3: Final Archwire Individualization, maximum and minimum anchorage when losing spaces.
Clinical cases from start to finish understanding the diagnosis and the treatment mechanics and how to deal with daily clinical situations.
DAY 2 & 3 (28th & 29th March)
Moving to Damon Ultima
Dr. Anghileri will be sharing a complete insight about the new Damon Ultima System – the first Full Expression System, focusing on what remains the same and what changes in the system to improve the results we can achieve for our patients.
